What's the saying? The cobbler's kids have no shoes. Well that is true of THIS designer's home. Even this description understands my situation!
Anyway, don't get me wrong, I love our little house. We purchased it over a year ago for the location and the potential. A 1974 Raised Ranch with A LOT of the 70's still present and some BAD color choices from the previous owners. Slowly but surely, we are chipping away at the house making it ours.
Oh, and did I mention that I have an active toddler?!?!... so either way, the idea of creating a picture perfect interior like I do for my clients is kind of out of the question. We nick named our son, Captain Destruct-O.....get the idea? We are creating a livable, kid-friendly, welcoming home in just OUR style.
So please, stay tuned to my blog for some up coming before and afters of my own little side project; our 70's Raised Ranch transforming into our modern, eclectic cottage (ranch)!
